Aircraft Types
Freighter, belly-hold, narrow-body, wide-body and regional
Freighter — Wide-body
Boeing 747-8 FreighterThe long-haul workhorse for heavy and outsized air cargo. The nose door takes lengths nothing else will.
Boeing 747-400 FreighterStill common on charter and scheduled freighter networks.
Boeing 777 FreighterTwin-engine efficiency on long haul; the volume leader among twins.
Boeing 767-300 FreighterBackbone of regional express and integrator fleets.
Airbus A330-200 FreighterMid-size long haul freighter, popular where a 777F is too much aircraft.
Airbus A350FNew-generation freighter aimed at the 747F replacement market.
Freighter — Narrow-body
Boeing 737-800 Converted FreighterShort and medium haul feeder freighter, widely converted from passenger airframes.
Boeing 757-200 FreighterExpress network mainstay; long range for a narrow-body.
Belly — Wide-body
Boeing 777-300ER (belly cargo)Substantial belly capacity on passenger long haul; a large share of world air freight moves this way.
Airbus A350-900 (belly cargo)Modern long-haul belly capacity, common on Europe-Asia and Middle East routings.
Belly — Narrow-body
Airbus A321 (belly cargo)Regional and short-haul belly space. Bulk loaded, so piece size is limited.
Freighter — Regional-body
ATR ATR 72 FreighterIsland, feeder and short regional cargo where runways are short.
Figures are typical for planning. Actual payload and usable volume depend on the operator, cabin configuration, route length, fuel load and pallet build. Confirm with the carrier before committing to a booking.
