Built by people who have chased a container at 2am
Gateway Logistics Network exists because finding a reliable agent on the other side of the world should not depend on who you happened to meet at a conference eight years ago.
Our story
A directory was never going to be enough
Agent networks have existed for decades. Most do two things: publish a list of members, and hold an annual conference. Useful, but it leaves the hardest part of the job, actually working together day to day, entirely to email.
Gateway was founded by forwarders and customs brokers who belonged to three such networks and still spent their mornings re-typing shipment details into enquiries. We built the platform we wanted: structured requests, verified counterparties, real-time chat, and a scheduler that respects the fact that Hamburg and Singapore are seven hours apart.
Today the network spans 190+ countries and facilitates over 1.2 billion dollars in trade annually. The annual fee has never included a commission on a single shipment, and it never will.
What we stand for
Four commitments we do not negotiate on
Verification first
No company appears in the directory until legal identity, licences and references are confirmed. A badge you cannot trust is worse than no badge.
No commission, ever
We charge one transparent annual fee. What you earn on cargo won through the network is entirely yours.
Your data is yours
You control what is public, members-only or private. We do not sell member lists and we honour erasure requests in full.
Members before growth
We would rather admit fifty good companies than five hundred we cannot vouch for. Exclusivity tiers exist to protect that.
